This is a winning year for Nia Sanchez. The 24-year-old was crowned Miss USA in June and now, she is newly engaged. On Saturday night, 21 & Overactor Daniel Booko, 30, proposed to Sanchez on a private terrace in New York City, Rumor Fi reports.
The couple first met a year and a half ago at an engagement party but didn't start dating until three months later, when Booko saw Sanchez again at church.Booko told Rumor Fix that from the first moment he met his now fiancée, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
For the proposal, Booko secretly flew out to New York City, where Sanchez is currently living, and rented out the Suite Royale at the NoMad Hotel, which comes complete with a 700-square-foot terrace. The actor decorated this outdoor space with flowers and candles before inviting Sanchez over for the big surprise."She's thinking she's going to an event with friends … [and] I will be there looking all dapper in a suit decorated with candles and flowers and the whole thing and have her come over – just her and I to have an intimate moment – then get down on one knee and propose, then pop champagne and celebrate," he said.
Booko proposed to Sanchez, who happily said "yes," with a platinum, two-carat diamond ring. Booko also had a red, white and blue stone added inside the band to commemorate Sanchez's Miss USA title.

It must be February, because love is definitely in the air with the news that Vancouver Canuck forward David Booth got engaged to girlfriend (and Miss Tennessee USA 2011) Ashley Durham.
It was Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella who broke the news, tweeting her excitement on Tuesday. Turns out she was the one who introduced them in the first place. Nice matchmaking skills!
Durham took to Instagram to give us a glimpse of her happiness, sharing a photo of her and her maid of honour.
And only a few days before the engagement, Booth posted a photo of him and his love on Instagram, quoting country singer Justin Moore's "My Kind Of Woman": "Knew that was my kind of woman first time I saw her She's good with a cane pole good with a gun she's my kind of woman good as they come."

Miss USA 2013, Erin Brady recently posted a picture on her Instagram of her engagement ring with the caption, “Cheers to finally putting together the details on our wedding. Well, one day.”
Erin Brady entered the Miss Connecticut USA pageant in 2011, seeking to represent CT in the Miss USA 2012 competition. The East Hampton, Conn. Native placed first runner-up; not bad considering it was her first pageant, ever. About a month after the October 2011 event, Brady’s boyfriend Tony Capasso proposed, and she said yes.“He had it planned and he said, ‘Thank God you didn’t win because it totally would’ve blown our plans,’” Brady recalled in an interview with “The Ralphie Show.” “After the first Miss Connecticut USA Pageant we left for Italy, about three weeks later.”
The current titleholder revealed that she and Capasso discussed the idea of another try for the crown before she entered in 2012. “It was, ‘If this is something you want to do, by all means,” Brady noted of her fiancé’s response to her idea. “Obviously not knowing that I’d become Miss USA!”
Before competing on the USA stage, Brady had her wedding date set as the 9th of November, which we all know, was the date of the Miss Universe Pageant. “I wanted to live out my dream,” Brady told PEOPLE Magazine. She and her very understanding fiancé, Tony Capasso, discussed moving the date to a later time considering, pageant rules clearly state that titleholders are required to remain single throughout their reign.
